this coffee maker is badly designed and is a constant pain in the butt. the coffee grounds tray is very very difficult to open. it is very difficult to close. when you pull the coffee [pot after brewing out to pour the coffee it is stuck in place by the coffee grounds holder. i am very sorry i bought this machine. save your money.
